  • Prohibition of synthetic chemicals: No pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers are used. To combat pests and diseases, natural practices are used, such as the use of natural predators, cover cropping, and the application of permitted products such as sulphur or copper.
  • Promotion of biodiversity: The winery becomes a living ecosystem where native fauna and flora are protected. The vineyards become a balanced environment that does not need aggressive chemical interventions.
  • Conversion period: A conventional vineyard needs a minimum of three years of organic practices to eliminate residues from the soil and obtain certification.
